  3. Berkshire • Black w/ 6 white points (4 white feet, snout, tip of tail) • Erect ears • Lean & typically less fat than other hogs • England

  4. Chester White • White, small bluish spots sometimes found on skin • Small droopy ears

  5. Duroc • Red- light to dark • Medium droopy ears • Disqualifying-any part white, fewer than 6 udder sections • Prolific & hardy • Good meat-type hogs • USA

  6. Hampshire • Black w/ white belt • Erect ears • Lean & typically less fat than other hogs • England • Long straight ears • USA

  7. American Landrace

  8. American Landrace • White, although small black spots are common • Large droopy ears that cover most of the face • Straight snout • Trim jowl

  9. Poland China • Black with Six White Points (snout, feet, tail tip) • Ears Droop

  10. Spotted • Spotted about 50% each black and white • 6 prominent teats on each side

  11. Yorkshire • Large, White Hog • Slightly dished face and erect ears • Long bodied • Known for mothering ability and bacon breed

  12. Hereford • Red with a White Face and Belly • Cross of Duroc and Chesters
