MARKETING 13-14 Accomplishments • Implemented a Marketing Committee, which met primarily monthly, with a representative from all program areas(Summer months we did not meet personally) • Created and Implemented a Marketing Plan which was part of the Comprehensive Plan • Established membership at all County Economic Development Corporations and Chamber of Commerce • Invested in necessary promotional and advertising materials such as retractable banner, table banners, pens, notepads, and apparel • Implemented the CIU bi-annual newsletter in electronic format • Implemented program brochures as well as other print materials for our trainings, workshops, and programs • Implemented the use of social media, press releases, and print advertising in the tri-county area • Enrolled and completed a Marketing and Social Media course on the OBTT free training site

MARKETING 14-15 Looking Forward • Continue to meet monthly with the Marketing Committee (First meeting of the year 9/17/14) • Look into other branches of marketing to get the CIU #10 seen more in the community • Look at the participations in trainings from 13-14 and set a goal to increase • Create a marketing packet for all staff to utilize when meeting with potential CIU #10 customers • Finalize the marketing research via e-survey to businesses who are members of the tri-county Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Corporations • Continue to attend outreach events as deemed appropriate

  11. GRANTS • Created a procedure for staff to utilize in order to implement a grant submission process • Worked with staff on an as needed basis regarding research, proofing, etc. their individual programmatic grant submissions
