  2. Definitie • Revalidatiegeneeskunde is het medisch specialisme dat zich specifiek bezighoudt met de (te verwachten) gevolgen van ziekte, aandoening of ongeval en hoe deze te voorkómen of zo gering mogelijk te houden.

  3. Classificatie WGO ICIDH: • Stoornis, beperking en handicap (definities ontleend aan de International Classification of Impairments, Disabilities and Handicaps - ICIDH): • Stoornis (impairment): iedere afwezigheid, vermindering of afwijking van een anatomische, fysiologische of psychische structuur of functie; • Beperking (disability): elke vermindering of afwezigheid van de vaardigheid om een activiteit uit te voeren op de manier en in het bereik dat normaal wordt geacht voor mensen van gelijke leeftijd, sexe en cultuur; • Handicap: de nadelige positie voortvloeiend uit een stoornis of beperking, waarbij de normale rolvervulling in de eigen leefomgeving van een persoon wordt belemmerd, beperkt of onmogelijk gemaakt.   11. Inclusie criteria Revalideerbaarheid Leeftijd (geen absoluut criterium)

  12. Exclusie criteria MRSA Cognitief te beperkt (dementerend…) Decubituswonden Geassisteerde ademhaling bij dwarslaesiepatiënten Huntington gevorderd stadium

  13. Hosp /Amb • Hospitalisatieduur (minimaal) => Ambulante behandeling • Doel : verder zetten van de multidisciplinaire behandeling • Vervoer : eigen / rolstoeltaxi

  14. Revalidatiediensten • Intake • Bilanvorming • Teamvergadering & revalidatieplan • Behandeling & evaluaties • Eindbilan & overdracht thuissituatie
