Foto • Ziele • freier Handel zwischen Mitgliedsstaaten (Abbau von Zollschranken) • Liberalisierung des Welthandels • Wirtschaftswachstum durch Handel  Arbeitslosigkeit senken • Wichtige Aktivitäten • Handelskommissar vertritt gesamte EU bei Welthandelsorganisation • kontrolliert international vereinbarte Regeln damit Wirtschaft der EU wettbewerbsfähig bleibt • Einführung Umsatzsteueridentifikationsnummer: bei Handel zwischen Unternehmen innerhalb der EU  vereinfacht Verfahren im Binnenhandel für den Umsatzsteuerbereich
