“Multifunctional Forestry – Challenge for foresters and society” • The EU Forest Action Plan will: • Contain vision, objectives, actions • Serve as an instrument of coordination between Community actions and the forest policies of the Member States • Support the implementation of the Strategy (also monitoring and reporting) • Will be developed by mid-2006 • Multifunctional forestry remains an underpinning principle
