  3. The Baptism of Christ. Verrocchio Leonardo painted on of the angels and the landscape of the painting. One of his earliest works of art as an assistant. He served as a model under Verrocchio. Nimbus on Angels heads

  4. Pieta.Michelangelo A statue of the Virgin Mary with the dead Christ lying across her lap. He created the work at only 23 years old. ONLY work he signed on Mary’s sash.

Why would he paint God so merciful in the Creation of Adam and so feared in the Last Judgment? What caused his view to change?
