Baseline Decisions • Retain a two-stage bunch compressor • Reduced field Flux Concentrator for e+ source • 500 MV s-band linac for auxiliary positron source • Include e+/e- production overhead (margin) in specification for RF • HLRF system for 5 GeV Boosters RDR/DRFS • Adjustment of the damping ring transfer lines (Central Region) • Physics related instrumentation accepted as proposed. • BDS/FFS length fixed at current length

  4. Other issues discussed • Global timing • Finalisation of path length for TDR • Understand construction tolerance (survey) • Location (and design) of adjustment chicane • Final path lengths not known until after KEK BTR (Jan 2012). • Operations and commissioning • Understand strategy and use of beam dumps • desired rating etc. • Understand scope of use of aux. positron source
