IT tools for e-commerce and e-marketing • E-commerce: • This concept is based on the internet infrastructure and provides both producers and consumers with a simply and fast way to sell / buy products. • The amount of trade conducted electronically has grown extraordinarily since the spread of the Internet.

IT tools for e-commerce and e-marketing • E-commerce: • Originally, electronic commerce meant the facilitation of commercial transactions electronically, using technology such as Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). • These technologies were both introduced in the late 1970s, allowing businesses to send commercial documents like purchase orders or invoices electronically.
