  3. SLA Exception Request • ERCOT requests a 36-hour Release window be granted for October 22-23 (Saturday noon through Sunday midnight), and again for the same period on October 29-30  • These two windows are necessary to complete the migration (and verification) of Production systems as part of the Data Center Migration Project  • There are no Release windows outlined in the SLA for 2011 due to Nodal Stabilization • Currently there are only Sunday maintenance windows, which are insufficient for the volume of activities with the Data Center Migration  TDTWG

  4. Retail SLA • Release Windows (sect 2.1.2 and 2.2.2) • Added: Upon implementation of TXSET 4.0, the 4th weekend release window will be modified to comply with business day protocols, and the SLA will be updated to reflect these changes. • Browser Standard information added to section 4 (next slide) TDTWG

  5. Browser Standard Timeline • ERCOT currently supports Internet Explorer 6 and 7 browsers • Other browsers are mostly, if not fully, compatible though not supported by ERCOT IT staff (Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc) • ERCOT is planning to have all market facing applications compatible with Microsoft browser IE8 (Internet Explorer v8) by April 1, 2012 • The IE8 browser is compatible with the latest version of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7) and contains improved security features.   • Prior to April 1st, 2012 ERCOT will publish a list of recommended IE8 browser configuration settings • ERCOT’s support for IE8 will allow Market Participants to upgrade their browsers anytime after the effective date • Any Market Participant that has a problem with IE8 after April 1, 2012, can report the issue to Client Services or to ERCOT’s Helpdesk • ERCOT will continue to support Microsoft IE7 until mid-2014. No action is required from Market Participants at this time. TDTWG
