RHYME SCHEME A - There was a young lady named Rose A -Who had a large wart on her nose. B - When she had it removed B - Her appearance improved, A - But her glasses slipped down to her toes.
RHYME SCHEME A - An elderly man called Keith A - Mislaid his set of false teeth - B - They'd been laid on a chair, B - He'd forgot they were there, A -Sat down, and was bitten beneath.
METER • Lines 1, 2, and 5: • 8 to 10 syllables. • Lines 3 and 4: • 5 to 7 syllables.
