Hi I’m… BRAINSTORMING After our teacher told us to have a demonstration by the third week, we decided to meet after class, gathering a list of ideas spontaneously contributed by its of our members. Sheila artist David encoder Martin leader Rheawriter Jane researcher
COLLABORATION We do have some group discussion, giving and sharing ideas about our topic. So we come up on having observation in the market, and activity chart, before having our report.
I (Martin) and my classmates Rhea and Jane we’re assigned to go in the market to have the observation. David and Shiela do their Activity Chart.
O B S E R V A T I O N While we are in the market we observe that fractions is very useful and helpful to each and every one of us, because as we observed all of the vendors uses weighing scale most of the time to weigh, fruits, vegetables, fish, meats and rice.
David and Rhea started their Activity Chart in a week C H A R T

Assigning Tasks for the Demonstration: David do the powerpoint presentation Sheila Presents the objective for our lesson Rhea do the activity before the discussion Martin do the discussion of the lesson Jane after the discussion, lesson practice (worksheet)
ADDING MIXED NUMBERS AND • DISSIMILAR FRACTIONS DAVID • SHEILA • RHEA • MARTIN • JANE
OBJECTIVES: • Students will be able to… • change mixed number to an improper fraction • Express the fractions as similar fractions • Add fractions • Write the sum as a mixed number in lowest terms
(activity) • David Activity Chart Questions: • How many hours does he spend on his morning exercises? • How much time does he spend for both home chores and eating meals? • How much time does he spend for both homework and play?
In this chapter you will learn to add mixed and dissimilar fractions… • To add mixed numbers and dissimilar fractions first, change the mixed numbers to improper fractions.
