  1. Agree or Disagree? Do you agree or disagree with the following statements? The inner core is the hottest section of the earth. There are 56 large plates which make up the earth’s crust. When continental crust collides with oceanic crust it subducts underneath. Crust varies in width depending on where you are in the world. A transform/conservative plate boundary is when two plates slide past one another. The mantle is found in the centre of the Earth. Convection currents move the plates at a rate of a few centimetres per year.
