In October 2012 we sent to all the regions a questionnaire to fill. The main questions of the Q are: • Is there any law in your region to foster yoth mobility? • In wich way do you spread information about mobility in your region? • Is there any kind of desk or office for people who want get info about youth mobility? • Do you have grants or loans to foster mobility? • How people can get grants/loans?
We received 6 questionnaire filled! • Aquitaine • Emilia-Romagna • Dolnośląskie • Valencia • Västra Götaland • Wielkopolska
Legislation These two regions have a law on youth policies Law 18/2010 in Valencia Law 14/2008 in Emilia-Romagna
Legislation Other regions have no law on this issue, but in some cases they have regulation or resolution.
Comunitat Valenciana The law 18/2010 regulates the activities of the Institut Valencià de la Joventut in order to promote the international exchanege of young people. The Institut coordinates actions developed by the regional government in the field of youth policies, and is also responsible for coordinating and managing the Youth in action program
Emilia-Romagna The law 14/2008 promotes and supports activities linked to transnational mobility of young people in education, training and active citizenship.
Aquitaine In 2007 and in 20110 Aquitaine has introduced a general document “Le reglement d'intervention”. This act regulates the activities of the region in the field of: • Education • Training and apprentice: Leonardo • Upper education • Youth, youth in action program • Tourisme • Aquitaine grants loans funded by EU funds
Dolnośląskie Also Dolnośląskie has no law in this field, but it has a document called “The development strategy of Lower Silesia 2020”. In this documenti there are some goals linked to youth mobility: • Employment growth and labour mobility • Increasing level of education • The 19% of the budget of this Strategy is intended to education culture and information
Västra Götaland “Vision Västra Götaland – A good life” is the steering document that identifies 5 focus areas for the development of the region. Youth mobility is part of the area “knowledge and skills”
Wielkopolska Resolution “Europan regions enhancing internationalisation of vocational education and training” that aimes to enhance youth and adult mobility in cooperation with 15 European regions. The main focus of the resolution is the vocational education
How spread the information about mobility? • Website: all the ERY Regions • Infoday: Wielkopolska • Meeting with NGOs or other stakeholders: all the regions except Valencia • Other • Wielkopolska organizes the Trade of European job mobility; students organizations and associations organize meetings with students and youth
How spread the information about mobility? • Dolnośląskie: information also on the website of cooperating entities • Aquitaine organizes every year a conference about mobility • Valencia organizes meeting about Youth in action program • Västra Götaland uses different types of networks that facilitate direct contact with young people, but only in cultural sector
Other • Aquitaine has a Europe network (House of Europe, youth information center…) • Västra Götaland: Kultur Ungdom that provides information and support for youth mobility • Wielkopolska: Wielkopolska Region Youth Cooperation Centre
Grants • Aquitaine provides financial support to different beneficiaries • In Wielkopolska: Leonardo da Vinci is funded by FRSE and there is a competition between beneficiaries
