Qualificationfor election • FOR RUNNING • For all candidates: • Be active member.( Participated in at least two CSA events.) • For president and vice president candidates: • Have contributed to CSA events. • FOR VOTING • Each member held your membership for more than two terms.
Positions for election • President • Vice President • Treasury • Secretary • Public relation • Webmaster • Member Liaison
Responsibility ——President • Plan the annual events • Lead the team to hold each event • Run the official meeting • Be in charge of all executive duties • Help other officers if necessary
Responsibility —— Vice president • Assumes presidency in the absence of the president • Assist the president in all area as necessary • Assist officers with their work • Recruit volunteers for each event
Responsibility ——Treasury • Do paper work for record keeping and reimbursing, and transferring. • Do estimation for items needed to be purchased for each event • Take control of decision on how much money to spend on each event • Apply for budget for CSA (fill applications, and do presentations)
Responsibility ——Secretary • Reserve rooms for officer meetings and events • Send reminder email and agenda to officers before officer meetings • Take and send Meeting Minutes after officer meetings • Participate in discussions and events planning
Responsibility ——Public Relation • Coordinate with other organizations on campus for event planning • Brainstorm and organize advertising event • Handle issues between CSA and off-campus representatives
Responsibility ——Webmaster • Maintain and update the CSA website • Manage and update Renren and Facebook account • Design poster and tickets for events • Use technical skills to promote CSA events
Responsibility ——Member Liaison • Collect, organize and update memberships • Names • Email • Attendance • Active membership • CSA Newsletter • Done weekly/biweekly • Upcoming events and their descriptions • Feedbacks • Reflect members’ concerns to officer board • Follow up with corresponding changes/ reasons
Responsibility ——Member Liaison • Survey • Design questions • Collect data • File records for future reference • Dumpling Program and Dance Team • Coordinate and advertise events • Recruit volunteers and keep records • Seek help from officer board if necessary
