Historical Background of MAZIM • Mazim starts its business in 2010 by setting a poultry farm. • Then Mazim has set up a bio-gas plant by using the drops of poultry bird. • But it faces a great problem of bio salary which are comes from bio-gas plant as a by product. • Finally in the year of 2013, Mazim convert this poultry farm as a organic fertilizer manufacturer/producer factory. • Mainly it produces organic fertilizer as a new concept to establish sustainable agricultural development and also to contribute a pollution free agriculture in Bangladesh

Establishment of MAZIM • Achieving License from DAE in 2013 after the successful completion of 3 yrs procedure • Infrastructure Development of Factory • Commencement of Commercial Sale • But faced difficulties as Govt has no policies for organic farming, so MAIL took initiative for public awareness about Organic Farming such as seminar/workshop, farmers & dealers meeting

  14. Speciality of MOF Trichoderma is a soil fungi which occur in all type soil. Mazim Organic Fertilizer is a Trichodermaincorporated organic fertilizer which is environmental friendly and 100% organic product. During composting of OM & final packaging of Organic fertilizer Trichodermaspore & mycelia fragments are added. Mazim Organic Fertilizer could be used in different fields for different purposes, such as : • It could suppress or control plant diseases, especially the disease invade the plants via roots. • It could increase the population density of beneficial micro-organism in soil as a result soil micro nutrient, soil health and fertility would be increased. • It helps to increase macro & micro nutrients for plant health, growth and vigor, as a result crop production would be improved. • It reduces the use of chemical fertilizers and insecticide. • It could control soil salinity, pH, soil pollution and also could save soil bio- diversity.

  21. By products of above activities • A huge quantity of leachate will be generated. So, ETP plant will be required to recycle leachate into reusable water & liquid OF. • Proper management of Wastes, a set of Bio-gas plant will be required.
