    2. EPP is a web-based application that provides you self-service access to your personal information. EPP allows you to: View your payroll, leave, health and life insurance, savings bond, W-2, and other personal information. Request changes to specific payroll/benefits related information through the self-service feature. EPP also provides you with helpful links to valuable information sites regarding your Government benefits. What is EPP? 2

    3. Automatic EPP Signup All new USDA employees are automatically signed up for EPP. You will be mailed an EPP Signup Letter to the residence address you provided to your HR office. You should receive this EPP Signup Letter within the first two pay periods after your “Accession” personnel action and Residence Address document are processed. You will need this letter the first time you log into EPP. Getting Started in EPP 3

You can access EPP from any computer with Internet capabilities and one of the following browsers: Internet Explorer Version 6 or higher Netscape Firefox Version 3 or higher Safari To access EPP: You can select the EPP icon on the NFC Home Page (www.nfc.usda.gov) Application Launchpad , or Go to https://www.nfc.usda.gov/personal Accessing EPP 4

    6. To log in to EPP for the first time: From the Warning Banner page, click Accept. The EPP Login Page is displayed. Complete the fields as follows using the information provided in your EPP Signup Letter: User Id – Enter the User Id in your EPP Signup Letter. Password – Enter the Password provided in your EPP Signup Letter. Click Log In. The Security Measures for Your Employee Personal Page is displayed. First EPP Login 6
