8th Grade Pre-IB Registration Instructions • Due Date: Friday, February 7, 2014 – okay to turn in earlier • Please complete and turn in all of the following. All the information must be turned • in at the same time to be considered complete. • All information can be found on Rowland High School’s website. • 1. Go to http://www.rowlandhs.org/ • 2. Put cursor on Academics • 3. Click on International Baccalaureate • 4. Click on the 8th Grade Pre-IB Registration Information link on the right • The entire completed application submitted must include (do not staple) • 1. 8th Grade Pre-IB Application • Student’s personal statement hand-written in black or blue ink on lined paper • Two teacher evaluations in sealed envelopes - provide the envelopes for teachers • 4. Copy of your most recent report card/semester grades • 5. Copy of transcript of grades • 6. Copy of your 7th grade CST or equivalent standardized test scores (if possible)
8th Grade Pre-IB Personal Statement/Essay Requirements: Handwrite on lined paper in Blue or Black ink only 400-500 words Please answer the following prompt: Choose TWO characteristics (one from Column A and one from Column B) from the IB Learner Profile and describe how you have shown these qualities in either your academic or personal life.
