  1. “Ken, what makes you think that your life is more important than the life of the Bee?” Human Life Is Unique

  2. Human Life Is Unique Created in the image of God: “26: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…27: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” (Gen. 1).

  3. Human Life Is Unique Given dominion over lower creation: “28: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth” (Gen. 1).

  4. Human Life Is Unique Prohibition against murder: “6: Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man” (Gen. 9). Man allowed to use lower creation for food: Acts 10: 12, 13.

  5. Human Life Is Unique Man has often mocked the uniqueness of human life: Murderers not punished – Gen. 9: 6. Suicide viewed as option. Genocide. Euthanasia. Abortion.

  6. Human Life Is Unique Organic Evolution: Organic evolution teaches our young people that all life evolved the same way and from the same source. Hence, there is no essential difference in human life.

  7. Human Life Is Unique Man is the image and glory of God: “7: For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man” (I Cor. 11).

  8. Human Life Is Unique Man has a special relationship to the Creator: “13: Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14: For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil” (Eccl. 12).

  9. Human Life Is Unique Involved in this special relationship and responsibility: Be separate – 2 Cor. 6: 17. Take care of our bodies – Rom. 12: 1. Cleanse body and spirit – 2 Cor. 7: 1. Examine self – 2 Cor. 13: 5.

  10. Human Life Is Unique Involved in this special relationship and responsibility: Repent regularly – 2 Cor. 7: 11. Redeem the time – Eph. 5: 15, 16. Prepare for the next world – Matt. 25: 31-46.

  11. Human Life Is Unique Conclusion: Life is indeed special and unique. Christians believe this and should always demonstrate this belief in their lifestyle.There is a serious difference between the life of Barry and Ken!
