Tuesday 27th October • At this months mission focus we learned about Jairah Funds, a charity in Glasgow that supports overseas projects around the world. • Founded by local businessman, Raggy Ram • Jairah Funds projects includes; a rehab centre, children's school, bible school, house rebuilding and sewing centres • www.jairahfunds.com

  3. Matthew Chapter 6 • “Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven.2 Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 3 But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

  9. Summer 2014 • Stock Street Church Paisley • However usually a quiet time in the office • But busy time for Glasgow!

  10. September 2014 • Local floods in North India caused great damage • Jairah Funds were able to send emergency relief • New Jairah Funds Website

  11. October/November 2014 • Spent preparing for number of events in November • Christmas Fayre • Ladies afternoon tea afternoon • Lloyds small grants application • Reflections of last winter

  12. Christmas / New Year (2014) • Once again a quieter period • We got our first office Christmas tree! • Susan away during Christmas • Looked back at 2014 on twitter

  13. January / February 2015 • New Year, New Start • Accounts • We looked back at our goals for 2014 • We also thought about 2015

  14. March – June 2015 • Difficult time due to staff illness • Volunteers were able to help us

  15. Summer 2015 • Similarly a quiet period like the previous year • Office ‘clean up’ • However at the end of July, Raggy visited our projects in Brazil

  24. India House Rebuilding • Goal is to rebuild 1000 house in the Orissa area. • Plan to rebuild churches as well • Partners with The Good Samaritans (TGS)
