What is an Annotated Bibliography? • An annotated bibliography is a list of citations to book, articles, essays, etc. followed by a brief description of each source. • The point of the annotated bibliography is to inform the reader of the relevance of your sources to your final research paper.
Format • Last name, Firstname. Title of Book. City of Publication: Publisher, Year of Publication. Medium of Publication. Provide a paragraph that summarizes what this work offers. Provide this heading format. Make sure to provide your research question at the top. • Use Times New Roman font. • Your entire document should be double spaced. Don’t use any extra spacing. • There should be 1 inch margins all around. You should indent everything after the first line of your citation.
