We do not think that the Shared Facility services could or should simply be placed within the current building.
We too care about children and believe that the students and residents of North Central deserve a community with both heritage structures and new community services.
We are aware of the challenges that can come with adaptive reuse of buildings and understand that it may be difficult to incorporate the entire structure effectively. However, we still believe that it is important to integrate the old with the new.
We simply believe that these two things should go together for the benefit of the community.
Why it is “just not possible” The current school is “inflexible” to new learning models The cost of incorporating the 1923 block is too great
