Overview Implementation Date - July 1, 2009 • Replaces Financial Records System (FRS) • Replaces Campus Information System (CIS) (including ABYSS for FY2011) • CIS deactivated: • Created Approved • AFE’s/REQ’s April 30, 2008 May 1, 2008 • IMO’s/WOA’s June 30, 2008 June I close (supplier filled) • JE’s June I close June I close

  4. What is Kuali? • Community Source (by Higher Ed for Higher Ed) • Comprehensive Financial System to meet the needs of colleges and universities • Based on Indiana University’s Financial System

  7. KFS Release Dates-Release 2 • Labor Distribution May be implemented at a later date (July 1, 2010 or later) • Contracts & Grants Will not be implemented Kuali Coeus (research system) implemented at a later date • Purchasing/Accounts Payable Implemented at CSU

  8. KFS Release Dates-Release 3 • Budget Construction May be implemented January, 2010 for FY2011 • Accounts Receivable NOT a replacement for ARIES (Banner) May be implemented with Kuali Coeus • Capital Asset Management (Property) Implemented at CSU
