  2. Accomplishments in the Lab: • Planted LB Agar with KAN • Lab Inventory • Testing Chicken body parts and Organs in vertical gel electrophoresis to see what kind of protein make up different kind of muscles

  4. Accomplishment in Lab • Pallet the tubes to get the protein -Using the centrifuge, comical tubes , lysozyme(Digest the cell walls), pipette, and buffer

  6. Future Plans • Maybe do something else with the protein that we got from the tubes or start helping someone with a new project.

  8. BIOTECHNOLOGY Week of February 3rd through February 6th

  9. Accomplished this week Monday - Help Charles make the Bacteria Food using 35g of LB Agar, 10g of Carboxymethyl cellulose, 1 Liter of water, and ….. Then we use the stir plate to mix up the chemicals. Tuesday - I watch the stir pot to make sure that it didn’t over heat and the pressure stay right. Wednesday - I poured and labeled the plates using the bacteria food we created.

  11. What's Next • Hopefully next week I start working on my own project with some else to make sure we get it accomplished.

  14. Accomplishments in the lab • Worked on DNA packets • Got out the materials to start on the pGLO project • Started working on the pGLO

  15. WHAT’S NEXT? • I plan to start on a project if the pGlo stuff is finish.

  18. Accomplishments We been working on our pGLO project. Spooned down the cells We got the bacterial food out of the tubes to get the pallets alone.
