  3. Your Frustrations! I didn’t even do GCSEs – how can I help him? I don’t understand all this coursework, levels and modular exams – it’s completely different from when I was at school I can’t stand the arguments and stress when I tell him exams are important and try and make him work Surely she shouldn’t be going out again when she’s got exams coming up?

  4. Your Frustrations! She’s always got an excuse – I don’t know what to believe There’s a million websites to help but how do you know which are any good? He always leaves everything to the last minute – one moment he has all the time in the world – the next it’s all stress and stropping because it all has to be in tomorrow. She’s always panicked in exams – what can I do to help?

  10. Mind mapping A mind map is the easiest way to put information into your brain and to take information out of your brain. It is a creative and effective means of note-taking that literally “MAPS OUT” your thoughts. What you need to make a mind map: Blank unlined paper. Coloured pens and pencils. Your brain. Your imagination.

Expect to achieve their target grade or one below. Make sure that your child is using the internet to study and not as a resource to give the appearance of study! Help themget organized – notes, folders, revision timetable, revision materials Counter the myththat there is no use revising for the mocks everything will be forgotten by June.
