  3. Sexually Transmitted Disease's STDs are diseases that you get by having sexual contact (vaginal, oral, or anal) with someone who already has an STD

  4. Sexually Transmitted Disease's STD’s are caused by viruses and bacteria and more than 20 STD’s affect both men and women.

  5. Sexually Transmitted Disease's Teens are more at risk for contracting an STD.

  6. What STD’s are contracted the most by TEENAGE Girls?

  7. The highest rates of the sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) gonorrhea and Chlamydia in women occur among female teens between 15 and 19 years of age.

  8. Do Race and Ethnicity Play a role in the contraction of STD’s?

  9. African American adolescents and young adults have STD rates that are more than 20 times higher than those in white adolescents. .

  10. The Chlamydia rates for 15-to-19 years old females in 1999 were just under 4 percent for whites, 6 percent for Mexican Americans, and as much as 12 percent for African Americans.
