Operational Summary • Iraqi leaders meet at An Nasiriyah • Tikrit under Coalition control • No organized regime effort remaining • Baghdad settling down • 2000 Police Officers return to duty • No burning oil wells in Iraq

Security Situation Update • Rear Area Threat: • Iraqi paramilitary activities north of Kuwaiti border • Travel in Iraq entails risk • Close interaction with HOC prior to departure is highly recommended to ensure receipt of the most recent security updates
Significant CMO/Civil Developments • C-130s medical aid flights continue into Baghdad area • International aid continues • Jordanian field hospital • Australian medical supplies • Taiwanese rice • Philippine police and aid workers • Pursuing opening additional berm crossing from Kuwait into Iraq
Southern Highlights • Qal’at Sukkar water supply • Only 4-6 day supply of chlorine • Operating on generator w/10 days of fuel left • Pump runs twice a day 4 hours each time • Ar Rifa power out • Due blown transformer and downed power lines • Plant supplies power to Ar Rifa and Qal’at Sukkar

Central Highlights • Baghdad • 24 tons of medical HA available at BIAP • Looting is still a problem but continues to diminish with increased patrols • A 2-3 week supply of food in the city of Baghdad • Karbala • Karbala creating local leadership council • Karbala hospital is operational
Central Highlights • Nukayb • Distributed HDRs to villages in Southwest Iraq • Over 5000 in Nukayb, Habbariyah, Alkasra Aljadidah • Little commerce between Nukayb and Karbala since beginning of war • Shortage of fuel in the area • An Numaniyah power and water • No power because of downed lines • Electric water pumps used to purify water • Several reported cases of dysentery and diarrhea
