Objectives/goals • Content: I will be able to justify how my subject artifact personally represents me. • Language: I will use the language of JUSTIFY/EVALUATE/ and TRANSTION WORDS to discuss and write with my group and in my paper. • Social: I will respectfully collaborate with my group in the computer lab.
Brainstorm • Design a thinking map that can classify every class and an artifact that can represent you. • Does anyone know of a map that can organize our justification paragraphs?
TPS – Think, Pair, Share • Have students share their artifacts with each other… just in case they want to change them.
Formatting Paper • Double Space • 12 point font • Times New Roman • One space after periods • Margins: 1 inch on each side • Indent the first sentence of your paragraphs (5 spaces) • Students information is on the LEFT hand side: • Language Arts Teacher’s Name: Mrs. Valverde • Science/Period: 5/Mr. Bryns • Bob Imaginary • Title of the paper is “Science Justification Paragraph”
