  3. Polydor Records • Was found in 1924 • Are a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment • UK record label • Distribute a range of genre regarding music • Work was distributed outside the US by ‘Interscope Geffen A&M’

  4. BBK Record • Is a label that places significance on young aspiring artist in the following genre: • Grime • Rap • JME – identified them which is a successful music artist in the UK • Owned by the people of the band ‘Boy better know’

  5. 679 Records • Also identified as 679 artist • They are a Subsidiary of Warner music group • I strongly believe that my artist ‘WA’ can get signed by 679 record label as other artist that have been signed by 679 produce similar music as apposed to my artist ‘WA’. • Moreover, come from the same background e.g. ‘Plan B’.

  6. XL Records • Multi genre music label • They deal with a range of different artist • Relates to the same music genre (Rap) as my artist (WA). E.g. ‘Giggs’ • Independent label owned by Richard Russel. • Distributor of this label is ‘Beggars group’
