General Safety • LS1 safety supervision: Dimitar, Didier, Hugo, Sergey, Maryia, Natascia, Edward Daily safety supervision, PPSPS and WPA SLIMOS OPM, EOD • Upgrade of the safety systems: Sergey, Didier • Detector Safety System • New Flammable Gas detection system • Upgrade of the centrale detection gas USA15 • Maintenance of the safety systems: • Sniffers (Didier, Francesco, Gevorg, Fred, Cedric, Charles) • Radiation Gate monitors • Foam system • .Fire detection, gas, etc..   3. Radiation Protection • New RSO – Giancarlo • New RPE – Alexandre • ALARA budgets for the end of LS1 and future: Irina, Natascia, Illona All FLUKA dose calculations done by G. Mornacchi and C. Ursheler have been transferred. The comparison with the dose measured at start of LS1 are on going. We see a factor 2 maximum of difference between calculated and measured. We will internalise the FLUKA doses calculations starting 1st July (FLUKA model update and new scenarios). A technical student will be hired very soon (July). R. Vuillermet

  4. Radiation Protection • Remote Handling – Christos, Alexandre, Dimitar We are currently setting up an organization in ADO-PO to prepare ourselves to future use of remote handling. We are defining the requirements and tasks impacted. We are currently doing a survey of the market to determine which company is the most suitable for a collaboration (in close collaboration with CERN and especially EN department) The goal is to start a prototype in building 180 within a year with the case of IDEP dismounting. ATWPSS and EDUSAFE • ATWPSS – Christos, Alex, Mark, Dimitar, Vit Upgrade development of the ATWPSS : Miniaturization + “helmet case” Integration of TETRA Adaptation of the system to the Fire Brigade needs Development towards to EDUSAFE technologies • EDUSAFE – Christos, Lakshmi EDUSAFE Network Coordinator Research program on Augmented Reality Technologies R.
