Holistic Learning • All knowledge is interrelated. • The curriculum helps develop the “whole person” and create a “well rounded” individual. • Discovers relationships between areas of knowledge, the individual, communities, and the world. • Helps build intrinsic motivation, encourages deeper, lasting understanding, and facilitates transfer of learning.

  9. Intercultural Awareness • Develops a knowledge and attitude about your culture, as well as the culture of others. • Helps acquire a global perspective.

  10. Communication • The ability to understand and express ideas and information confidently and creatively in more than one language and in a variety of modes. • Language is integral to exploring and sustaining personal development, cultural identity and intercultural understanding, as well as being the major medium of social communication. • Develop verbal and nonverbal ways to share and acquire knowledge through language and other modes of thinking.
