Plotting the drawing • "Plotting" is also called "Printing" because you can print to both large-format plotters as well as small printers just like any other windows operation to produce hard-copy output. • AutoCAD uses standard Windows printer drivers to control plotters and printers, but

PLOTTING THE DRAWING WITH LAYERS 1. Open the File menu Page-setup Manager.
PLOTTING THE DRAWING 2. In the Page-setup Manager, choose the Modify command.
PLOTTING THE DRAWING • Page setups are associated with layouts and stored in the drawing file. The settings specified in a page setup determine the appearance and format of your final output.
PLOTTING THE DRAWING 3. Choose monochrome in the Plot style table then printer name. Uncheck the Fit to paper check box and set the scale to mm then type 0.1 for the units.
PLOTTING THE DRAWING 4. The message box will appear prompting you to assign the plot style, click YES.
