ArcGIS Data Store – Spatiotemporal Big Data Store • Can choose to add a Spatiotemporal store when configuring the data store • Allows better support for observation data with the GeoEvent extension in 10.4 • Uses Elasticsearch • Enables archival of high volume observation data • Very high write throughput and scalability (can run across multiple machines) • Provides high availability

What’s new – on the server • Output format = GeoJSON • Attachment sync direction • allows you to upload your attachments but not download new attachments when syncing • An option to get a copy of your data  (data extraction) • Calculate and ValidateSQL • Apply edits while preserving your Globalid (REST API) • Admin API - add / modify and drop indexes, relationship classes and domains in Portal for ArcGIS / ArcGIS Data Store • Spatiotemporal data store based on elastic search • GeoEvent server • very large volumes of data ingested at a very high rate
