What is the Circulatory System? The Circulatory System is responsible for transporting materials like water, nutrients, and oxygen throughout the body. The Heart The Heart is a muscle located in the center of your chest. It’s job it is to pump your blood and keep it moving throughout your body.
Blood Vessels There is three types of blood vessels: Arteries:Blood Vessels that carry oxygen away from the heart. Capillaries: Tiny blood Vessels that connect arteries to veins. Veins: They carry blood back toward your heart.
Blood The blood is a substance pumped by the heart that is constantly flowing through our bodies. Blood carries nutrients, water, oxygen and waste products to and from your body cells.

Lungs The lungs are the main organs of the respiratory system. In the lungs oxygen is taken into the body and carbon dioxide is breathed out.
Trachea The trachea filters the air we breathe and branches into the bronchi.
Bronchi They are two air tubes that carry the air directly into the lungs.
Diaphragm The diaphragm is a muscle placed at the bottom of the lungs , this muscle pulls air into the lungs. It is the main muscle used in breathing.
