  4. B. Revolving Nose Piece Holds the low and high-power objective lenses; can be rotated to change lenses so that a slide can be seen at different magnifications

  21. How to use a microscope • Total Magnification: Eye piece x objective lens = • Use the SCANNING objective lens first!!! • NEVER use the coarse adjustment knob when you’re on HIGH power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
