  4. Kilkenny GAA There will be a Total of 102 Teams participating in U-10/12 Go Games playing a total of 660 games

  5. U-10/U-12Club Coaches are devoting over 660 hours to playing club games for their club players this season

  13. Club Juvenile Coaching Coordinator Role:The Club Juvenile Coaching Co-ordinator will help co-ordinate the activities of the club coaches/mentors to provide a safe, smooth and rewarding progression for all its players from Under 8 to Minor .

  17. Blitz Guidelines 2015 • All blitzes to be approved by County CCC & GDC • All Players Play (or on at least on a rotational basis) • All participants are treated equally • Small- Sided games • 8 teams Max per Blitz

  18. Blitz Guidelines 2015 • Format U-8’s to U-10’s • 4 teams , • 2 pitches , • Each Player plays 3 Games. • Each Team Plays 3 Games • Refreshments for all including Tea for Mentors

  25. U-8’s • Sunday 10th May –St. Kieran’s College • Apply to afd@ossory.ie • Format to be followed • 4 teams , • 2 pitches , • Each Player plays 3 Games. • Each Team Plays 3 Games • Refreshments for all including Tea for Mentors

  26. U-10’sThere will be 48 teams participating in a total of 5 League Games and a Festival Final in Nowlan Park Over 288 Games to be played

Criteria • Club Juvenile Coaching Co-ordinator in place • Club Juvenile Committee in place • Street / Parish League organised by the Club Juvenile Committee where sufficient numbers are available. • Feile na nGael - Skills Competition held Internally in the Club • Coach Education - One Foundation Coach involved with each team from U-8 to U-18 Club Team

Criteria • Players Nominated and to attend the Hurling and Gaelic Football Development Squads U-14 to U-18 and Club provides players for Development Camps (U-14) in North and South Kilkenny • Cumann na mBunscoileanna/Second Level Schools : Provide  School Club Coaches or assistance provided as requested by local Primary Schools/Secondary Schools

  39. Criteria • Local Primary Schools/Club assist in promoting the Regionally held GAA Cul Camps • Attendance of Club Coaches at relevant Coach Education Courses and Workshops/ Conferences • Participation in all Cumann na mbunscoileanna / Coaching and Games Development/ Bord Na Nog/  Fixtures in BOTH CODES. This to include clubs fielding two teams at U-10 and U-12 Age Levels (where sufficient numbers are available) • WALKOVERS…………………. • “Go Games” ethos when organising own Blitzes U-8 to U-12

  40. Criteria • Code of Best Practice attended by present Club Mentors • Respect Initiative promoted Underage to U-18.   • Player/ Coach Behaviour at Games as decided by Coaching and Games Committee Cill Chainnigh/ Club Cill Chainnigh Committee

  41. Competitive • Non- Competitive • Less Competitive and AGE APPROPRIATE

  42. Club Structures • Encourage Clubs to undertake their own “Go Games” Street Leagues • Young Referees (Minor players or younger) • Clubs organise their own Blitzes/Games Programmes for their young players • Learn from Mistakes ……..
