  3. Wheat is grown across much of Europe, with the big hitters being France, U.K., Germany, and Poland. The EU collectively is the globe’s largest wheat producer. June 11, 2014

  4. Rapeseed is also grown across much of central and northern Europe, and has expanded into the Balkans. The EU is the largest rapeseed producer globally. June 11, 2014
