Part of Flower- Each Flower consist of Three parts. - Pedicel. - Thalamus. - Floral Whorls.

  3. Parts of flower 1)Pedicel- Stalk of the Flower is called as Pedicel .If it is present called as pedicillate flower and if it is absent called as sessile flower. 2)Thallamus- Disc like portion called as thallamus on which floral whorls are arranged, 3) Floral Whorls- Each flower has four floral whorls. - Calyx -Corolla - Androecium - Gynoecium

  4. .If All the Four Floral Whorls are present in the flower called as complete flower. If any one Whorls is absent called as incomplete flower. If Both sex organ are present in the flower called as Bisexual flower. If only Androecium present called as male flower. If only Gynoecium is present called as Female flower. If both sex organs are absent called as Natural flower.

  5. Calyx - It is Outer most and First Whorls of the Flower. It is Made up of Number of Sepals. It is Non-essentional whorls of the Flower. Sepals are generally green colour hense it function is photosynthesis as well as portion of bud in young stage. When sepals are free called as polysepalous. When sepals are united called as gamosepalous. Modification of Calyx:- There are two modification of calyx - Pappus. (hairy) - Spured.

  6. Corolla - It is second whorls of the flower. It is made up of number of petals. It is non-essentional whorls of the Flower. petals are variously coloured hence it attracted the insect for the purpose of pollination. . When petals are free called as polypetalous. When petals are united called as gamopetalous. Form of Corolla:- - Cruciform Corolla. - Papilionaceous Corolla. - Infundibuliform Corolla. - Bilabiate Corolla.

  7. Androecium- It is Third whorls of the flower. It is made up number of stamens. It is essentionalwhorls of the Flower. It is male Reproductive part of the flower and is the pollen producing organ of flower. When stamen are free called as polyandrous. When stamen are united called as Synandrous. Part of Stamen:- Each stamen has three parts. - Anther lobes. - Connective - Filament

  8. Gynoecium - It is inner most and fourth whorls of the flower. It is made up number of carpels. It is essentional whorls of the Flower. It is female reproductive part of the flower and is the pollen receiving organ of flower. When carpels are free called as Apocarpous. When carpels are united called as Syncarpous. Part of Carpels:- Each carpal has three parts. - Stigma. - Style. - Ovary.
