History and presence B.Bystrica Beginnings of parent company SSE, a.s. stretch back to years 1920-1923, to establishment of companies: • Central Slovakia power station (SSE) in Banská Bystrica • Connected powerstations of north-western Slovakia (SESzS) in Žilina • Construction and assembly activities of SSE as anindependent unit (EEM predecessor) begun to operate as of January 01, 1961.

  3. Shareholder The sole founder and shareholder of EEM, a. s. is company Stredoslovenská energetika, a.s. in short SSE, a. s. that runs business in the sphere of distribution, sales and production of electricity. The General meeting of SSE, a.s. had approved the Contract for sale of company part, Division of construction and assembly activities into newly created subsidiary company EEM, a.s. with effect as of September 01, 2004. Company's  registered capital at present time represents amount of 4,680,354 EUR. Shares were issued in amount of 141 pieces with a nominal value of 33 194 EUReach.

Labour safety at work and environment • Labour safety : • attention to labour safety of employees at work • minimum accident rate • availability and innovation of personal protection means • EEM, a.s. obtained the Safe company certificate • in 2009 EEM, a.s. successfully obtained quality management certificates under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 a OHSAS 18001 • Environment : • participation on creation of positive direct environmental impacts on human living environment for example: • – waste separation • – mounting of comb type barriers • – exchange of straight consoles for Antibird type • summary of company activities creates prepositions for improvement of environment
