Partner Institution and Person Roles Academy Support Center (ASC) Instructor Training Center (ITC) NetAcad Resource Partner (NRP) Offer services outside those normally provided by ASCs and ITCs such as student internships or council coordination. Institution Roles Specialize and excel in preparing and developing academy instructors. Specialize and excel in supporting academy sustainability and excellence.   8. Partner Agreements Each institution role requires that a separate signed agreement with Cisco prior to migration. Academy Support Center Instructor Training Center NetAcad Resource Partner Your AAM will contact you if he/she has not received your signed agreement prior to migration.

  9. Have not signed your Partner membership agreement yet? Here’s what to expect… • Partners will sign one or more agreements with Cisco • Contact should alert their legal signatory • Need to create Cisco CCO account so they can sign agreements • Look for email from Cisco with link to “Click to Accept” • Everyone has to sign a user agreement on migration day • A screenshot of signing the agreement is in the Operations Handbook Note: Some NetAcad Resource Partners may have this role without a formal agreement with Cisco

General Migration Timeline: Academy Partners April-May Planned for week of May 9 May - August • Become active in the online curriculum and Club NetAcad Communities • Provide appropriate support and services • Provide feedback on migration process See next slide for further information about migration • Provide feedback to Cisco on new system and new partner model • Stay active in the online Communities • Continue to provide excellent support and services • Attend Virtual Open House sessions on April 21st and 28th • Decide your future role • Fill out Intent to Participate form • Sign partner agreements • Help communicate with Cisco academies • Use Suggested Talking Points for Partners • Attend ASC mentoring session on May 2nd

  11. Migration What does migration mean? Old System: Institutions will be detached from their current “tree” New System: Cisco Academies will be assigned to their ASC All Users: upon entering Academy Connection, users are prompted to update their profile Cisco Academies: update institution profiles and sign agreements in new system Academy Support Center Academy Support Center CATC • No more system messages from parent institutions • No longer have the “support your locals” links in Academy Connection Cisco Academy Cisco Academy Cisco Academy Cisco Academy Cisco Academy Cisco Academy Regional Regional Local Local Local Local • Cisco Academies have a direct relationship and agreement with Cisco; they understand the full value of their membership and are accountable for program quality • In Alpha, a Cisco Academy can change their ASC by contacting the support desk • This applies to all non-student users at any partner or Cisco Academy that has migrated

Migration Day for PartnersOnce system migration is complete… • Migrated users log in to Academy Connection, and are prompted to update their user profile and accept a new user agreement • Migrated users will see a “New Experience” banner in Academy Connection • After completing the steps for updating profiles, migrated users can participate in the new Communities, and access their Learn or Manage tabs

Academy Connection Before/After MigrationManage Academy Page • Before migration, a Regional Academy’s “Manage Academy” page has task links related to supporting local academies. • You will no longer see these links after migration because you will no longer be adding new local academies in your role as ASC, ITC, or NRP

  16. What does post-migration mean? (Roles) Academy Support Centers Instructor Training Centers NetAcad Resource Partners • Provide services to academies as shown in the ASC membership agreement • Provide services to academies as shown in the ITC membership agreement • Meet Instructor Trainer qualifications • Provide services to academies as shown in the NRP membership agreement Provide feedback on migration process. Participate online in the product-based and Club NetAcad Communities.
