  4. A long distance relationship can help a couple to better communicate • Although not all couples are involved in a long distance relationship, they should always have space from one another. • When a couple is separate from one another then they communicate more than an ordinary couple. • They have different techniques to communicate such as electronics, social media or through email. • Communication among a relationship is the key to survival and among long distance couples it is stronger than a typical relationship.

  5. In a long distance relationship a couple maintains relationship stability • Relationship stability is having trust and faith in their spouse among a relationship. • Having trust in their partner is key during a long distance relationship because of all the time spent apart from each other. • Communication is vital when maintaining relationship stability. • Couples have to communicate to have trust in their spouse. • Relationship stability would be higher among long distance relationships because they tend to be more committed and more focused on their relationship.

  6. Intimacy is more common among long distance relationships • Intimacy is a feeling of being close with their spouse. • They have a friendship along with a romantic relationship. • Just as in relationship stability, a couple also needs communication to have intimacy among a long distance relationship. • In an ordinary couple, intimacy would be lower because of the amount of time the couple has already spent together. • Intimacy becomes higher with time spent apart from the spouse.
