  1. Student Competition Schedule 2010-2011 Student competition “Design and analysis of economic benefit of a Propellant Depot” • 1. STTC abstract due to AIAA on Dec 2009 • 2. STTC RFP due to AIAA by May/Jun 2010 (just sent in July) • 3.       RFPs publicly released ~Aug 2010 (waiting to hear back from • 4.       Students Letters of Intent due ~Mar 2011 • 5.       Students proposals due to AIAA by ~Jun 2011 • 6.       STTC evaluation of proposals (On-going - Jul 2011) • 7.       STTC final selection/approval of 1st, 2nd, 3rd place teams typically at JPC (Aug 2011) • 8.       SSTC informs AIAA to support the award announcement (in ~Aug 2011) • 9.       Winning teams announced and recognized by AIAA at Space (usually ~late Aug/early Sep 2011) • This year we only had one entrant! • Will award either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Place award depending on quality of proposal • Help us spread the word so this does not happen next year!

RFP for 20111-2012 Competition“Design and Business Plan for a Commercial ETO Passenger Vehicle” • Will now be run by Doug Stanley (Thanks for all of your hard work Brian!!) • Submitted to AIAA for evaluation and eventual posting. • Thanks for all of your help in creating and editing this RFP!!
