  2. Achtergrond • Intentie dat de Academie inspiratie en input kan aanbieden bij een aantal actuele beleidsthema’s. • Programma: jeugdwerkloosheid in combinatie met het ‘denkersinitiatief’ (Prof. J. Eeckhout)  Omkadering: Prof. J. Konings (voorzitter), Prof. H. Bocken (bestuurder klasse), Prof. R. Lestaeghe (onderbestuurder), Prof. P. Van Rompuy (uittredend bestuurder), Prof. G. van Outryve d’Ydewalle (vast secretaris), Mevr. I. Dua (administratie) • Woensdag 11 december: congres over jeugdwerkloosheid • Doel: een bijdrage te leveren tot de beleidsvorming betreffende de problematiek van de jeugdwerkloosheid. • Vandaag: besloten workshop  doel: via rondetafel discussie de prioritaire onderwerpen identificeren die de focus worden van het congres op 11 december.

  3. Vier deelthema’s • Scholing en opleiding (Prof. I. Nicaise) • Lange termijn werkloosheid en mismatch (Prof. J. Konings) • Beperkte integratie en migratie (Prof. M. De Vos) • Urbanisatie (Prof. J. Eeckhout) • Jeugdondernemerschap (Prof. J. Debrulle) • Vergrijzing (Prof. K. Schoors)
