ATV Safety Training • Training for Youngster 12 Years And Older • Training On Three Wheelers Or Four Wheelers • No Size Restrictions • Allows Certified Students To Operate On Public Lands & Waters And Cross Roads. • Must Ride on Shoulder Of The Road, Not In The Ditch

Program Consists Of • Take Home Course For Students Under 16 Years Of Age • No Minimum Age • Materials Structured For Students 12 Years Of Age. • Work Book • Written Test
Program Consists Of • The Parents Or Adults Are The Instructors • They See That The Materials Are Read • Administer The Written Test And Send In For Certification • They Conduct The Driving Test • By Law They Must Accompany Those Under 16 Years Old On Public Lands And Waters • As of 2003, 1381 Students Certified.
Off Road Vehicles • Minn. DNR Offers No Safety Training • Must Be 16 Years Old To Operate
