  2. A bit about me… • 1992 Graduate of Owen J. Roberts • 1997 Graduate of West Chester University • Elementary Education • Masters Degree in Literacy from WCU • Working on my Masters in Administration • This is my 17th year teaching at OJR

Daily Schedule • 8:15 – 8:30 Unpack, order lunch, use restroom • 8:30 – 8:40 Announcements • 8:40 – 9:25 Social Studies, Science • 9:25 – 10:10 Specials • 10:10 – 11:25 Math • 11:25 – 12:15 Recess and Lunch • 12:15 – 3:10 Language Arts • Reading, Writing and Word Study Specials Day 1 – Music Day 2 – Gym Day 3 – rotation Day 4 – Library Day 5 - Art

  4. Language Arts Block • Daily 5 rotation (centers) • Small group instruction with me. • Centers around the room, including; • Word work • Writing • Reading • Cursive • Keyboarding

  5. Social Studies and Science Social Studies Science Scientific Method Simple Machines Plants Rocks and Minerals • Goods and Services • Wants and Needs • Government • Pennsylvania

  6. Classroom Volunteers • In the afternoons…(12:25 – 2:45) • Supervising students during centers • Fridays – Administering Word Study Tests Please get your CLEARANCES, they must be on file in the office.
