  6. I. Germany • It is about the size of Montana and it lies in the heart of Europe. • Black Forest is known for its scenery and its wood products. • Danube River is an important waterway.

  17. I. Germany • Western Germany has a place called Ruhr and it is an important industrial center. Production of iron ore and coal is important here. • Many battles have been fought here.
