Problem w/traditional politics • Rural areas lacked high political power • Solution: base county unit votes on population of county/district • 8 large/most populated districts get 6 unit votes • 30 medium populated districts get 4 unit votes • 121 small populated districts get 2 unit votes
How does the County Unit System allow a rural candidate the opportunity to win a senate election?
