  3. IMPLANTE DE MICROCHIP EN RETINA PARA AYUDAR A INVIDENTES • La idea es fijar un microchip en la parte externa del globo ocular del paciente. Los electrodos de ese chip estarían en contacto con el nervio óptico, enviando así las señales al cerebro.

  4. TOYOTA DESARROLLA SILLA DE RUEDAS CONTROLADAS POR EL PENSAMIENTO • Investigadores del BSI-TOYOTA Collaboration Center (BTCC), han logrado desarrollar un sistema que  permitirá a personas con discapacidades, controlar una silla de ruedas a través de las señales de su cerebro.

La empresa NeuroFocus, con sede en Berkeley (Estados Unidos), ha creado el primer dispositivo que captura de forma inalámbrica un electroencefalograma cerebral (EEG). Se llama Mynd y consiste en unos sofisticados auriculares que pueden enviar datos de manera inalámbrica vía Bluetooth al iPhone, el iPad y otros dispositivos inteligentes.
