Early Life. • Czar Nicholas II was born on May 18,1868 • He received his education through a srting of private tutors. • When he was 19 years old he joined the army. • He ascended the throne fallowing the death of his father in 1894. • He married Princess Alexandra of Hesse-Darmstadt(Nicholas II).

  3. He was Known For.. • Nicholas II was the last of the Romanov Dynasty, which had ruled Russia for 300 years.

  4. During the Russian Revolution. • He was a clumsy and ineffective leader whose avoidance of direct involvement in government caused resentment among the Russian people. • This resulted in violence in 1905. • Nicholas II abdicated on March 2, 1917, as a result of the February Revolution(Nicholas II).

  5. His Death. • On July 171918, Nicholas II and his family were murdered by Bolsheviks under Vladimir Lenin, in Yekaterinburg(Nicholas II).
