  6. 1 Not all Veterans are eligible for VA benefits

  7. Not all Veterans are eligible for VA benefits • The Veterans Administration provides healthcare for Veterans, Reservists and National Guard • In order to qualify, Veterans must meet specific eligibility and qualification requirements 1. Financial 2. Service Connected Disability

  8. Some may need more coverage • ER coverage • Not always covered • Veteran may be responsible for bills • Pharmacy and co-pays: • Some prescriptions not covered by VA • May prefer closer pharmacy • Co-pays could be less for Veterans using MA/MAPD VA
