    4. ABNORMAL SHADOWS SIMULATING DENTAL CARIES 1-Cervical burnout Well defined radiolucent shadow at neck of teeth caused by: a-Anatomical configuration of the teeth b-Variable X-ray penetration of crown,neck&root. It is obvious in increased exposure fs&large metalic restoration

    5. D.D OF DENTAL CARIES 1-LOCATION 2-TRIANGULAR 3-USUALLY AFFECT PREMOLAR

    6. 2-PERITUBULAR DENTINE This occur after caries and its restoration>>>peritubular dentin in tubules under the restoration>>>normal dentin appear more radiolucent ABNORMAL SHADOWS SIMULATING DENTAL CARIES

    7. CLASSIFICATION OF DENTAL CARIES 1-OCCLUSAL CARIES :( in posterior teeth) Incipient lesions Moderate lesions>>radiolucent zone in dentine Severe lesions>>> radiolucent hole in dentine
